JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct during Sundays 33-16 loss to the Oakland Raiders because he used a racial slur.Lee said he used the N-word, but said he used it in response to several Raiders players also using it.It was back and forth, Lee said. In the midst of the game, emotion is going from both teams. It just so happened the ref heard me, so therefore I got the flag. Ive got to fess up to it.The penalty occurred late in the third quarter after a 2-yard gain by Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon. Lee, who went to the sideline very upset after the penalty and had to be calmed down by several teammates, declined to name the Raiders players that used the slur that caused him to respond. The NFL instituted a rule in 2014 that penalized the use of abusive language, which includes racial slurs. It also includes a fine of more than $11,000.Lee said he let his emotions get the best of him and added that he didnt harbor any ill will toward the players whom he said used the slur against him.Throughout the whole game we had a lot of players saying a lot of different things, but thats just the midst of the game, Lee said. Its kind of hard when you have refs out there trying to limit what people say when youve got grown men hitting each other. Youve got a lot of things thats going on thats flaring as far as in your mind. These 42 [teammates] know as far as the things I said, it wasnt intentional at all.I know he [the Raiders player he used the slur against] woke up the next day not worrying about it at all just like I woke up no worrying about it. I feel like youre going to always have that issue because youre going to always have situations where [emotions] flame up and both teams are going back and forth and things are going to get said regardless of if the ref likes it or not.Lee was one of three Jaguars players who drew penalties because they couldnt control their emotions. Defensive tackle Malik Jackson was ejected early in the fourth quarter after being penalized twice for unsportsmanlike conduct in a four-play span. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey was ejected late in the fourth quarter after getting into an altercation with Raiders receiver Johnny Holton.Jacksons first unsportsmanlike conduct penalty came after he was flagged for roughing the passer. He disagreed with the call and the referee announced that Jackson used abusive language toward an official.Four plays later, Jackson was ejected after shoving a Raiders offensive lineman and apparently said something on his way off the field that warranted a penalty. Jackson declined to elaborate on what he said in each instance.I disagreed with the [roughing the passer] call but I have to understand that theres a line to toe and they have a job to do, Jackson said. A lot of things were said. A lot of things happened and I got thrown out as a result. I learned my lesson. Ive got to do better for the team and grow up a little bit and cant make mistakes like that. The second time it was just the same thing. Just a culmination of the whole day. A lot of things going on and just got frustrated and lost my cool. Cant have that happen.Ramsey and Holton got into an altercation after Raiders punter Marquette King ran for 27 yards after a bad snap to pick up first down. Both players shoved each other and hit each other in the helmet. They probably dont want me to say this but Im going to just keep it real with yall: If I was out there nine more times I would do the same thing, Ramsey said. I dont think I should have been thrown [out of] the game for it. Neither do I think he should have been thrown out of the game for it, to be real with you. But Im not going to be disrespectful.Ramsey said he didnt have any issues with Holton, a rookie receiver who played just five snaps on offense, before that play. I guarded Amari [Cooper] the entire game, Ramsey said. Literally the entire game. I played nickel maybe a few snaps but other than that I was always on Amari so I dont know who that dude is.Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said having two players ejected from the game is unacceptable and he takes it personally.Thats a reflection of me as a head coach, Bradley said. Its a reflection of our discipline. Its a reflection of how our culture is and how we talk and how we handle things. That part of it, that hits home with me because obviously its my responsibility. The demeanor of this team and how we approach things and how we play with poise, I take personal responsibility for that.Adidas NMD R1 Cheap . He had a towel draped over his shoulders and was still wet from the beer shower provided by his players. Derek Holland gave up four hits in eight stellar innings, Nelson Cruz and Mitch Moreland each hit a home run and Washington became the winningest manager in Rangers history as Texas beat the Oakland Athletics 4-0 on Sunday. "Im not a fan of the cold stuff," Washington said. "I had to stand there and endure it. Any success you have in life, there are others who helped get you there." Washington, who coached for Oakland for 11 years, passed Bobby Valentine with his 582nd win. "Yes it means a lot to me," he said. "I came here as a novice and in seven years won the most games in Rangers history. This organization gave me the chance and the players kept winning ballgames." Adrian Beltre had two hits and drove in a run for the Rangers, who have won six of seven to move within 2 1-2 games of the AL West Division leading Athletics. "Its a pretty cool accomplishment and hes going to get a lot more," Rangers infielder Ian Kinsler said. "Hes grow up with this organization and established a winning environment." Nate Freiman had two hits for the As, who have lost four of five. Holland (9-6) walked two and matched his season high with 10 strikeouts as he ended a personal two-game losing streak. "Weve had a strong relationship," Holland said of Washington. "He even comes out to the mound instead of (Mark) Maddux. Hes a great guy for me. I love playing for him." A.J. Griffin (10-8) lasted 6 2-3 innings, allowing four runs -- three earned -- on five hits. He walked one and struck out seven. Griffin has allowed a major-league leading 28 home runs this season and became the first Oakland pitcher to give up two or more in four consecutive starts since Mark Redman did it in 2007. "Thats the best Ive seen Holland pitch in quite a while," As manager Bob Melvin said. "The inside zone was there for him, which made the changeup really tough to deal with." Holland, who has an 0.81 ERA in his nine wins, beat the As for the fifth straight time. He also improved to 7-1 in 12 road starts. "Oakland is in first place for a reason," Holland said. "Were gaining ground on thhem for a reason too.dddddddddddd" Joe Nathan walked Josh Donaldson and allowed an infield single to Yoenis Cespedes to open the ninth. He got pinch hitter Brandon Moss to ground into a force out and got Alberto Callapso to hit into a game-ending double play. The Rangers took advantage of a two-out fielding error by Cespedes in the first inning to take the early lead. Kinsler reached second on the play and scored when Beltre singled. Cruz led off the second inning with his 27th homer of the year and Moreland hit a two-run shot in the seventh. "Its pretty frustrating," Griffin said of Morelands home run. "To pitch well for 6 2-3 innings and to have that happen, its frustrating." Meanwhile, Holland did not allow a runner past second base. He retired 14 of 15 batters during one stretch.
