LE LIORAN, France -- Vincenzo Nibalis struggles in the first hard climb of the Tour de France have settled the leadership debate within the Astana team. The 2014 Tour champion was dropped by the top Tour contenders in the punishing category-2 ascent of the Pas de Peyrol in Wednesdays first mountain stage, crossing the finish line at Le Lioran ski resort eight minutes and 38 seconds behind his younger Astana teammate Fabio Aru.After winning the Giro earlier this season, the Sicilian rider made the pledge that he would ride the Tour in support of Aru to focus instead on the Olympic Games road race next month. The plan was that Aru would return the favor by working for him in Rio, where both cyclists traveled in January to check out the course. But given Nibalis proud temper and stunning comeback on the penultimate stage of the Giro, there was speculation that he would play his personal card at cyclings showpiece event. Its now obvious that Nibali is not fresh enough to compete for the overall win. With three very difficult stages in the Pyrenees looming this weekend, Nibali dropped to 50th overall, 14.06 minutes behind new race leader Greg Van Avermaet.I wanted to stay near the front with Fabio, but I didnt have the legs and I wasnt having a good day so I really let it all go, Nibali said at his team bus after the 216-kilometer stage on the middle mountain roads of Massif Central. After the Giro, I took 15 days off. Its not easy to race here after the Giro. Weve all said many times that Fabio is racing for the Tour, so were here in support of him. Today it would have been nice to be alongside Fabio, but it wasnt my day. Im fine with this, I dont have any regret.Astana manager Alexandre Vinokourov said Nibali suffered from the heat and was not surprised by his riders failure to deliver. We knew he would not be a contender, Vinokourov said. Today was difficult for everybody, a real mountain stage even if the climbs were not so long. And everyone saw that Aru was there.A climbing specialist who won the Spanish Vuelta last year, Aru is widely regarded as a future great of his sport. At 25, he has also finished twice on the Giro podium and is attempting to win the Tour on his race debut. Only 11 cyclists have achieved the feat, including Eddy Merckx, Fausto Coppi, Jacques Anquetil and Felice Gimondi.Aru, who was mentored by Nibali earlier in his career, was at ease throughout the days five climbs and crossed the line in the same time as favorites Chris Froome and Nairo Quintana, keeping his chances alive.Although he is not sure he will recover his form before the Pyrenees, Nibali repeated that he would try his best to help Aru. He is in great shape and we all want to ride a good race for him. Vapormax Nere Pas Cher . Mitch Holmberg added a goal and three assists. Connor Chartier also scored for the Chiefs (3-0-0). Luke Harrison spoiled Garrett Hughsons shutout bid with a power-play goal at 13:17 of the third period. The Spokane goaltender finished with 28 saves, including a Brandon Fushimi penalty shot in the second period that would have tied the game 1-1. Vapormax Homme Moins Cher . Kiriasis and brakeman Franziska Fritz finished two runs in one minute 55.41 seconds -- a mere 0.01 seconds ahead of Meyers and Lolo Jones, who likely bolstered her Olympic hopes by helping give USA-1 a huge push in the second heat. http://www.vapormaxsolde.fr/basket-vapormax-plus-grossiste.html . Down by seven with 90 seconds left in regulation, thats where they looked comfortable. Vapormax Plus a Vendre . Manuel was offered a position the day he was fired. He accepted earlier this week and the team made the announcement Friday. Vapormax Femme Solde . On Saturday night, the normally free throw-challenged centre did just that. Howard scored 18 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including 13 of 19 free throws in a 2 1/2-minute stretch, and the Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 122-111. Renault boss Frederic Vasseur says much of the progress the team has made this year has not been visible externally but will play a big role in 2017.Renault has endured a tough season since returning to the grid as a manufacturer, which it did following a protracted buyout of Lotus. The team has scored points at just one race, the Russian Grand Prix, and posted the slowest qualifying times in Italy last time out. However, with the teams focus already shifted to the big 2017 rule changes, Vasseur thinks Renault has made big steps forward on an operational level.?We are all very much focused on 2017 and yet we must continue to strive for the best results possible in the upcoming races, Vasseur said. It is tough for the team of course but we can clearly see progression in areas that are not always visible externally. This is all part of the building of this team. We must concentrate on this and work on areas that can make a difference in the longer term: for example tyre management, how we manage our race weekends and improving the cars regular peerformance.dddddddddddd.Any good work and improvements made on track are useful for 2017 and beyond. We must keep this motivation -- we have a great team of mechanics and engineers and we are doing positive work in areas such as pitstops -- we did the fastest pitstop in Monza with 2.1s! For me this is proof of the hard work done by all in the team, their commitment and resilience in tough times.Vasseur says the Renaults struggles in Belgium and Italy were good for the teams resilience. The last two races have been challenging and characterbuilding for the team in terms of results. Our global performance was good in Spa and we achieved our best qualifying results of the season so far, but unfortunately in the race we had Kevins accident and we couldnt convert our qualifying pace into a deserved good result in the end. We expected Monza to be a tricky weekend and we are now fully concentrated on Singapore and beyond. ' ' '
