State announced the NCAAs decision Tuesday, making Finley a redshirt sophomore this season. He will have two more years of eligibility after this one.Finley redshirted at Boise State in 2013 and played in just three games for the Broncos last season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. He graduated from Boise State in three years and transferred to N.C.
