EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants have activated halfback Shane Vereen off the injured reserve/designated for return list and terminated the contract of offensive lineman Adam Gettis.The Giants announced the moves on Saturday, a day before meeting the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.Vereen tore his triceps on Sept 25 against Washington. He was placed on injured reserve two days later and underwent surgery.
