PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks finally got a shutdown performance from their bullpen, then benefited from a bases-loaded walk to end a long night and a four-game losing streak.Welington Castillo drew a one-out walk to drive in Paul Goldschmidt with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning, sending the Diamondbacks to a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night.Goldschmidt led off the inning with a single off Blaine Boyer (1-2) and moved to second on Jake Lambs single. One out later, David Peralta reached on an error to load the bases and Castillo walked on a 3-1 pitch from Boyer. It was a tough pitch. I am glad he didnt swing at it period because it might have been a double play ball, Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said. That was the zone all night. We saw that. That was at the bottom a little bit below the knees. He wasnt calling that. He (umpire Jeff Kellogg) was very consistent that way.Boyer had some words for Kellogg as he headed into the dugout.I asked him how his familys doing, and he said theyre doing good, Boyer joked. Thats what we do as pitchers, right? We think the umpires are wrong every time. Im sure that call could have gone either way. Its 100 percent on me. I didnt make my pitches when I needed to make them and that one hurts.Reliever Adam Loewen (1-0) struck out two in a scoreless inning for his first win with the Diamondbacks. Loewen and five other relievers held the Brewers scoreless on two hits for five innings after three rocky outings from the bullpen in a series sweep by Washington. The bullpen, that was a big night for us, Hale said. Everybody looked good that came in did the job. The whole group. We have been tying to figure this thing out. To have some success is what you can build on.Yasmany Tomas hit two solo home runs, going deep for the third straight game, for Arizona. He has a major league-leading six multi-home run games this season. The Brewers failed to score in the top of the first despite a leadoff double by Jonathan Villar, who took third on an error by Tomas in left field. Villar was thrown out at home plate on a ground ball to shortstop, ramming into Arizona catcher Castillo on the tag.Tomas homer in the second put the Diamondbacks up 1-0.It is all about the way I am working. I am working really hard to make a good selection, on a good pitch, Tomas said through a translator.Milwaukee tied it in the fourth on a two-out single by Orlando Arcia, his first major-league hit and RBI. Hernan Perez scored on the play.Arcia was awarded third base when Diamondbacks second baseman Jean Segura, a former Brewer, threw the ball from Arcias hit into the Milwaukee dugout before time had been called. Segura was charged with an error. He just threw the ball in right away. The play wasnt over yet, Brewers manager Craig Counsell said.Tomass 21st home run of the season cleared the right-field fence in the bottom of the fourth, giving Arizona a 2-1 lead. But the Brewers drew even on a long pinch-hit home run to lead off the seventh by Keon Broxton off Diamondbacks starter Braden Shipley.Peralta took extra bases away from Arcia in the top of the ninth, reaching up to catch a fly ball near the fence. Kirk Niewenhuis dove to take a hit away from Castillo in the bottom of the ninth.Chase Anderson allowed two runs and four hits in six innings against his former team, striking out five and walking two.Shipley walked six in six-plus innings, allowing two runs and four hits.TRAINERS ROOMBrewers: OF Domingo Santana has been on the 15-day disabled list since June 8 with right elbow soreness. ... Conor McGregors absence from UFC 200 was supposed to be made up financially by his appearance two cards later. After all, cards that feature McGregor have yielded three of top five gates in UFC history. But, judging from whats available on Ticketmaster for the UFC 202 card that McGregor is headlining, recouping that loss is going to be a long shot.More than 2,700 tickets still havent been sold with three days to go before McGregor fights Nate Diaz in a rematch at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. That means roughly 14 percent of the arena hasnt been sold. The majority of those tickets are the premium, high-priced seats in the lower bowl, closest to the octagon.Roger Jones of Vegas Tickets, among the biggest resellers of UFC tickets, says the main factor is the new T-Mobile Arena. Having a permanent venue that is not tied to a casino, Jones said, has allowed people who wanted premium tickets to reserve them ahead of time. That means there are fewer people and companies looking for the best seats on an event-by-event basis. Its affecting everything in this arena, including concerts, Jones said. If you are Turner Construction, a big company here, youve already purchased your suite. Even a guy who has a business with decent presence in Las Vegas isnt looking around for seats at the last minute because he already got club-seat rights.Thats why, Jones said, the premium seats for UFC 202 arent selling.Jones also says he believes the UFC has overpriced most of the seats, which range from $365 to $9,995. His company, to sell its inventory, is reselling the $365 seats for $250 and seats priced at $2,950 for $1,800.Patrick Ryan, co-founder of Eventellect, a secondary market ticket distribution company, agrees. What it appears the UFC has done is to raise prices to match past prices on the secondary market, so that they dont leave money on the table, Ryan said.dddddddddddd But when brokers dont think they can make the margin on your tickets, they dont buy and that contributes to lost buzz.Ryan said the WWE is willing to leave some money on the table for the resellers, which is why, he says, approximately 5,000 seats have been resold for SummerSlam in Brooklyn this weekend and fewer than 1,200 have been resold for UFC 202.WWE, he says, rarely heads into marquee pay-per-view events with so much available inventory the week of the show, whereas that has started to become commonplace for UFC.A UFC spokesman declined to speculate on the ticket situation. Due to higher ticket prices, Saturdays event will still generate more than $7 million in live gate and might qualify as the fifth-largest ticket sales revenue event in UFC history (UFC 200 did $10.7 million). Factoring in UFC 202, recent events in Las Vegas dating back to December will still have pulled in more than $40 million at the gate. Its worth noting that the percentage of fans traveling from international markets, notably the United Kingdom and Ireland, is down. McGregors loss to Diaz in their first fight certainly is at play, as well as the frequency of McGregors fights -- many have come over several times in the past 13 months to watch their native son, so perhaps fatigue is setting in.Jones doesnt think all is lost for UFC 202. He says he is counting on a strong walk-up crowd from locals and those who happen to be in Vegas who will be convinced, come this weekend, that the best entertainment they can get will be watching the battles in the octagon.
